What are the worst days after Liposuction?

The worst days after liposuction have to be the first 7.
Not only are you in shock because of your results but your body hurts.
If you have a faja on now you're figuring out how to pee through a hole.
You sit confined all day because the garment is on 23 hours a day ( depending on your doctor ).
Welcome to Post Op Chats: Where I give you the same feedback I would give my post op clients in the Bronx
Your body is numb and in pain at the same time.
It's a lot and its overwhelming.
There also will be a part of your inner circle who may be wanting your results to fail.
And they are putting forthe negative energy towards your recovery... especially because your swollen body is not your final results.
There's a lot of different protocols your doctor may or may not follow after your surgery.
And if you only listen to the Post Op Facebook groups after liposuction you may find that you are stressed and overwhelmed... even more.
Everyone has a different recovery path depending on which surgeon they use and what was asked for.
For example, if you ask for aggressive liposuction because you want the smallest dimensions possible for your body, that might look like a longer recovery and more swelling.
Why? They sucked out more fat.
If you asked for liposuction only to your stomach and sides as someone with a lower BMI it might mean a faster recovery than if you were starting with a heavier weight.
As you can probably tell by now it all depends.
But the stinging and nerve pain is something most people who do liposuction go through.
Your nerves have to heal too.
Recovery is 33% low sodium eating, 33% massages / watching your compression and 33% mental. (Keeping in mind all of this only possible with a successful surgery).
